Technology Trust empowers UK charities to accelerate their mission through technology. It provides access to online fundraising, email marketing, software and cloud solutions for non-profits along with advice on selecting and utilising the right technology. Technology Trust focuses mainly on the provision of a wide range of donated products and services that are used to increase the efficiency of charities in many of their core areas of activity.
Since 2001, Technology Trust has saved UK charities more than £160 million in software procurement and have also provided charities with £300 million in income through their secure payment-processing and fundraising services. Technology Trust currently works with over 22,000 charities in the UK alone and provides free, independent thought leadership on IT in the charity sector through their dedicated website as well as a news portal, Charity Digital News. In 2006, Technology Trust launched tt-exchange, the donation programme in partnership with TechSoup. Through this, more than 18,000 different charities have benefited from world-class IT products. To date, more than 65,000 donation requests have been by fulfilled for charities in the UK.
Technology Trust also provides a variety of other services for the third sector (NGOs, non-profits, charitable associations, charities, etc):
- tt-mail: The UK’s leading third-sector email marketing service, sending roughly 6 million emails per month for our charity/social enterprise clients. This provides massively discounted access to dotMailer’s advanced email platform as well as the support necessary for charitable organisations to get the best from it.
- tt-giftaid: This offers resource-limited charities a stress-free way to ethically reclaim their gift aid. The programme helps charities to access up to 25% extra income from donations as small as £20 without costing them extra money, time or staff.
