If you want to make a change, you cannot do much when you act alone. To make your voice heard, you need support from your neighbourhood or local community. With Tech4tories and new technologies, we teach NGOs how to tell their story, attract supporters and get out of their communication bubbles.

March 2018, thanks to TechSoup Balkans we met with ten teams of activists willing to make a change in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Four days of intensive training with RNTC expert gave them knowledge of effective technics of persuasive storytelling. With new skills, participants were planning their social campaigns to get communities attention for the causes they stand for.

And what challenges bother activists from Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Ecology, disabilities, nationalism, fight with propaganda and fake news, youth entrepreneurship – these social issues were deeply discussed by civil society representatives. For four days of a training, they were mapping their audience, influencers and creating ideas for actions to be taken.

Out of ten teams, we chose five for whom we prepared a further support – an individual coaching from RNTC aiming to shape the ideas of social campaigns.
