MEET AND CODE
In 2017 we started our cooperation with SAP in promoting STEM Education. Together we reached 200,000 children and young people across Europe (18 countries in 2017 -> 35 countries in 2021) organising coding events, robotic classes, or hackathons. In 2020, the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI) became part of the project as a partner in the framework of the German EU presidency and beyond, focusing on EU countries.

- CSR APPROACH: global donation program
Bitdefender has partnered with TechSoup since 2012 to protect the world’s most vulnerable from the growing dangers of malware and e-risks through the donation of its products to nonprofits across the world. After the programme launched in 2012, the programme quickly expanded into new countries. By 2015, Bitdefender became the first European company to partner with TechSoup on the global expansion platform, giving 1 million registered users access to Bitdefender’s security expertise and technologies. The partnership between TechSoup and Bitdefender originated from a relationship between one of TechSoup Global Network Partners, Asociatia Techsoup Romania and Bitdefender, both of which are headquartered in Bucharest. Since then, Bitdefender has scaled its CSR programme to a global level, having donated over $3.7M in retail value to nonprofits since the partnership started.
