On 18-19 February TechSoup Europe team is in Zagreb, Croatia on the bootcamp for the finalists of Ministry of Data challenge. It is an open data challenge for Western Balkans. 10 teams got to the final and since few months have been working on apps which will transform their cities, improve governance, effectiveness and public participation at the local level.
Bootcamp is an intensive weekend where seasoned experts help the finalists build up their projects and presentation skills. Mentors are experts in data analysis, spatial data, promotion & marketing and building a sustainable business model, UX design and programming.

At the end of the bootcamp, finalists will use all the advice to dazzle a jury with an elevator pitch, while the jury will have a difficult task of choosing the winners of the of 4 cash prizes and 2 tailor made incubation processes.
