The Erasmus + project EU Democracy Rally offers young people tools for designing political and social campaigns in order to strengthen their willingness to actively participate in political processes.
Well-informed citizens are needed to help shape the future. Active citizenship is particularly important in times of crisis. Under the management of Zentrum fir Politesch Bildung (Luxembourg), in partnerships of ten organisations from EU, Fundacja TechSoup brings its expertise for active citizenship such as game-based learning or intercultural skills.
This partnership aims to create an “EU Democracy Rally” providing young people with the opportunity to train active citizenship skills while jointly building political and social campaigns.
The online participation platform (deomcracrally.eu) will feature an online version of the Rally and enable participants to team up on the European level while cooperating with youth workers as well as decision- and change-makers. A third intellectual output will be a toolkit allowing young people to explore the democracy of the future, including mind games, simulation, studies and join exploration activities.
