DIGILEAD – Advancement of Digital Transformation of Social Sector with the Use of Open Badges Recognition System
November 6 -7, TechSoup partners cooperating within DIGILEAD – Advancement of Digital Transformation of Social Sector with the Use of Open Badges Recognition System project met in Milan, Italy. It was the second opportunity for partners – Fondacija Mozaik from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Les Ateliers du Bocage from France, Haus des Stiftens gGmbH from Germany and Socialtechno from Italy, together with TechSoup Europe, as a leading partner, to discuss the draft of Advanced Methodology of Training Nonprofits Leaders about Digital Transformation. It is a key precondition for implementation of the Experimental training for Nonprofits Leaders about Digital Transformation.
First three trainings for NGO leaders discussing issues of opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in the III sector were held in Poland and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in November. Webinars in Italy, BiH and Poland are planned for December 2019.
Digital Literacy Education Frameworks for Social Sector (DLNGO)
November 18-20, seven TechSoup partners met in Vienna within the framework of the project Digital Literacy Education Frameworks for Social Sector (DLNGO). It was forth face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus+ project partners from Austria (Fundraising Verband Austria), Bosnia and Herzegovina (Fondacija Mozaik/Masta), Spain (ILUNION Tecnología y Accesibilidad), Italy (Socialtechno), Poland (Fundacja Techsoup) and Ukraine (GURT), in addition to the French leader (Les Ateliers du Bocage).
The objective of the project is to enable organizations active in digital literacy education to exchange best practices in developing and implementing training programs focused on the social sector. Improving the digital literacy of nonprofit employees and volunteers is essential to build their capacity to support the communities they serve and developing new social and economic opportunities for civil society.
The partners spent three days analyzing TechSoup Europe Education Survey results to better understand education capacity of the network, preparing to the launch of TechSoup Courses in Europe in 2020, developing TechSoup Europe education strategy.
Digital and Training Skills for the Social Sector (DTS4SS)
In January 2020, representants of Fundacja TechSoup (FTS) – Poland (project leader), NIOK Foundation – Hungary, Workshop for Civic Initiatives Foundation WCIF – Bulgaria, Les Ateliers du Bocage – France, Fundraising Verband Austria – Austria and Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society – Northern Macedonia will attend the first training on Building effective communication strategy within our new project Digital and Training Skills for the Social Sector (DTS4SS). The first training will be hosted by STGM Civil Society Development Centre in Turkey.
It aims to develop capacities and competencies of TSE network staff, scale already existing training resources, build a framework of TSE internal education program, strengthen TSE education programmes and promote collaboration within network partners, build the network of TSE trainers and disseminate project results to entire TechSoup network.
Next four trainings will be hosted by FTS in Warsaw, March 2020; by Socialtechno in Milan, April 2020, Asociatia Romania in Bucharest, June 2020, Fundraising Verband Austria in Vienna, September 2020.
